The quote below is one of my favorites from Jesus as it is a good reminder on how to live life in such a way that it is a cooperation with life itself, and when I saw this picture of the surfer in my portfolio it just seemed to match well. I’ve never actually surfed myself, but I imagine it certainly involves waiting and working in accord with the ocean and rhythm of the waves. One cannot force a wave to come but must learn how to read them and ride them as they freely come. Such is how this quote applies to life I believe. We must learn to watch for the waves in our life, their rhythms, and then ride them as the free, graceful gifts that they are. Grab a board!
